Online Psychosexual Therapy Thurnscoe

I specialize in relationship counselling, addressing anxiety related to sex and intimacy, couples counselling, improving communication, navigating divorce, domestic violence, marital abuse, spouse-directed aggression, infidelity, low desire, and sexual abuse.
My journey began over 30 years ago with my private practice in London, where I worked with women who had experienced sexual abuse, instilling a deep compassion for human suffering. I later extended my focus to vulnerable women in prison, those facing homelessness, and survivors of trafficking and sexual exploitation.
To broaden my impact, I trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and life coaching. I specialized in couples counselling and psychosexual therapy at the Tavistock Relationships Centre, recognizing the significant role of relationships in well-being.
My commitment to learning is reflected in my continued professional development, including certifications in Mentalization Based Therapy and Divorce and Separation Brief Therapy. Currently, I am pursuing a master’s degree in Autism to deepen my understanding of neurodiversity and its impact on couple dynamics.

Online therapy
Online therapy sessions are ideal for individuals and couples who have busy lives, or for couples that are in long-distance relationships. It may also be that you a struggling to find the correct type of counsellor near to you.
The sessions are flexible to your needs, meeting at times that suit you, when you’re free. I also structure the meetings to your individual needs, as a one-to one call or as a three-way conference-type call if required.
Session cost is the same as per in-person counselling, and I do ask for prepayment to secure you time-slot. Online therapy does require a good quality internet connection and a private space where you will not be overheard or interrupted.
For online counselling I use Zoom which is compatible with virtually every technology platform and provides you with privacy and security. Once an appointment has been booked and paid for, you will receive an email invitation with a link to the meeting. The whole process is simple and straightforward
