I am a fully qualified CBT therapist and counsellor with experience in working with university students, healthcare professionals, and adults of diverse demographics. I have helped clients with various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and personality disorders.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), COSCA (Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland) and The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
My approach to counselling is a mix of traditional counselling, CBT and mindfulness-based CBT. This enables me to adapt therapy to suit my client’s needs and ability to seek the desired change.
I have experience of working with clients at Golden Jubilee Hospital, Glasgow Cognitive Therapy Centre, and Lanarkshire Counselling and CBT Centre. This wide experience of working with healthcare professionals and university students has given him a unique perspective on the mental health challenges people face.
My approach to therapy is compassionate and non-judgmental. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment for my clients where they can explore their thoughts and feelings without fear of being judged.

I can provide short term therpay with 6 session for low intenisty diorders such as anxiety, worry, stress, depression, self-esteem.I alos provide therapy for complex and high intensity cases such as PTSD, complex grief, chronic anixety and long term depression through long term therapy over 12 to 18 sesions or more as required.

Anxiety : I can help you be more aware of the negative, irrational thoughts that trigger your anxiety, allowing you to challenge and replace them with more realistic perspectives.Depression : I will teach you some CBT tools to identify and replace the negative, distorted thought patterns that contribute to feelings of depression, helping you develop a more balanced, realistic outlook. Using these CBT skliis I will hope for you to be able to focus on increasing your engagement in enjoyable, rewarding activities, which can help boost your mood, energy levels, and sense of purpose, all of which are important for overcoming depression.
Self - Esteem : CBT can teach you to identify the negative, self-critical thoughts and beliefs that undermine your self-esteem, allowing you to challenge and replace them with more balanced, compassionate perspectives.
PTSD: I will support you to gradually confront and process the traumatic memories and beliefs that fuel your symptoms, allowing you to gain a sense of control and reduce the emotional intensity.
Grief: Using CBT tools I will collabrate with you to focus on practical strategies to gradually rebuild your life after loss, such as setting achievable goals, engaging in meaningful activities, and developing healthy coping mechanisms, which can facilitate the grieving process.
