James | Counsellor and Psychotherapist

Counselling and Psychotherapy Haggerston - London

Firstly, I'd like to extend a warm welcome. I believe in the power of being heard and given the right conditions you can flourish and grow. I aim to provide those conditions and deliver the space for you to be heard. During our sessions, I promise to listen carefully without imposing any judgment or values and help you understand and make sense of your issues. Then working collaboratively, we can explore the strategies to help you navigate your problems, and help you move forward with your life.

My Approach to Counselling.

I view counselling as a highly personal and confidential form of support, and, in my role as your counsellor, I would provide you with the space to express your concerns and explore alternative coping strategies. With my support, you can determine the most suitable approach to resolving your difficulties. The primary goal of our sessions is to offer you an opportunity to enhance the quality of your life by addressing your issues organically as they surface during our interactions.

My Perspective Towards Counselling.

I hold the belief that meaningful change occurs when clients and counsellors collaborate as a team. In my perspective, counselling is a creative and collaborative journey that fosters personal growth and enhancement. Utilizing a creative integrative approach, I craft a unique framework tailored to your needs, drawing from cognitive, psychodynamic, and humanistic modalities.

How Counselling Can Help

·         Counselling can provide a clearer perspective on life.

·         Identifies and modifies negative behavioural patterns.

·         Explore options and make decisions that lead to positive changes.

·         Can help contribute to a happier, more productive life.

·         Provides a structured process for making informed decisions.

Online therapy

I conduct online sessions using google meets or whatsapp video chat.

I understand that the search for the ideal counsellor can be quite daunting. To make this process more manageable, I offer a free 30-minute on-line session where we can discuss your issues, goals, and counselling needs, allowing us to determine if we are well-suited to work together. This session comes with no obligations and is conducted on google meets or whattsapp video chat.
