Online therapy
Online therapy acts much like face to face, yet the client has access to it from the location of their choice.Clients who choose online therapy may have issues that inhibit them from leaving their house, or for parents who have young children, or possibly live too far for face to face therapy. Having the option of online or face to face therapy gives the client the freedom to choose.
If online therapy is chosen, I then send you the link to the particular platform (Zoom or Microsoft Teams) where, once you've clicked on the link, I'll be there on screen waiting for you. If you arrive early you can wait in the 'waiting room' until I open up access to you. It's simple, stress free and a convenient option.
Telephone therapy is also an option that I offer. If you don't have access to a laptop or smartphone, or even if you're a little shy, telephone therapy may be a useful option for you.

I practice Person Centred Therapy and previously worked for 2 years within an agency that provides low cost counselling, both as a trainee and in a private capacity.Before training to become a counsellor I lived for 15 years as part of an international community within rural Ethiopia.
