You will find me understanding, compassionate, and empathetic as I guide you through what is holding you back and help you discover the deeper meaning behind these obstacles. Reaching out is your first step toward rebuilding, strengthening and supporting your emotional well-being.
Maybe you are here because life feels uncertain. It might be a relationship breakdown, the loss of someone close, or struggling to find your purpose. You feel sadness, stress, and a lack of joy in what you do, which affects your life, work, and relationships. It gets harder to feel in control, and it becomes more challenging to navigate alone– therapy is here to support you when life challenges you most.
I understand that you may feel stuck and overwhelmed right now. It can feel lonely and exhausting as your thoughts and emotions pull you away from the life you truly want to lead. You long for change yet do not know where to start. You might search for understanding and a way to create a more meaningful and fulfilling life. Imagine feeling less alone as you explore your emotions, worries and goals with the support and care I can provide you.
Whether you’re dealing with complex emotions or painful experiences or simply seeking a deeper sense of purpose, you will find me understanding, compassionate, and empathetic as I guide you through what is holding you back and help you discover the deeper meaning behind these obstacles.
Caring for your emotional well-being will support rebuilding your self-confidence and self-esteem. I’m here to help you as you prioritise your emotional well-being and bring new meaning back into your life.
If you're still considering therapy or have any questions about whether it's right for you, please do get in touch, and we can talk about how I can best help you. I offer a free getting-to-know-you call, and there is no pressure to book a session afterwards.
Taking the first step can feel daunting. I want to reassure you that I will make you feel at ease. You will find me warm, friendly, and caring. I'm looking forward to talking with you.

Examples of How Therapy Can Help to Support You
-
Grief
Grief is a deeply personal experience to you, and be reassured there is no right or wrong way to grieve. Healing occurs gradually; it cannot be forced or rushed as you experience the immense sadness, anger, guilt and confusion it brings. It may feel like a rollercoaster of ups and downs, highs and lows. Therapy can support you as we work through the intense emotions together and overcome obstacles in your grieving process, allowing it to unfold naturally. You will begin to find healthy ways to cope with the pain, and in time, it can ease your sadness and support you as you come to terms with your grief and towards finding new meaning in your life.
-
Life transitions
Life transitions can leave you uncertain about the future, scared, and overwhelmed about how to move forward. You might long for the life you once had and the person you were. You might question, 'Who am I now…?' Retirement, empty nester, menopause, and age milestones can become new beginnings. Therapy can help you find a new purpose, rebuild and rediscover yourself to feel more confident, and remove the self-doubt that held you back.
-
Relationships, family estrangement, separation and divorce
Can leave you stressed, anxious, grief-struck and isolated. Imagine feeling less alone as we explore these intense emotions and relationship struggles to build healthier, more fulfilling connections and restore your well-being.
How Therapy Supports Me
I've faced challenges and felt stuck in my life. Therapy has been a vital support, helping me reconnect with myself during challenging times. I truly appreciate the invaluable support that helped me navigate these overwhelming experiences when I felt most lost. It guided me through a midlife career shift, divorce, health scares, and the emotional impact of the stages of Parkinson's disease on a parent and a late ADHD diagnosis.
I have learnt the importance of leaning into therapy to support and strengthen my foundation when I feel the ground tremble underneath me. Therapy is a caring, gentle hand that guides me back up safely.
It supports who I am today, helps me understand how my past shows up in the present and ensures that my future self is cared for with the work I put in now.
You're not alone in this—many of us are on similar journeys.
Online therapy
Working Online Together
I have a special interest in online therapy and can offer flexible scheduling for my sessions to make support more accessible to those seeking help. You can book sessions on different days or times, either weekly or fortnightly, to accommodate your schedule, especially if you can’t commit to a set day or time.
Telephone Counselling
With many years of experience providing online and telephone support, I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for my clients. They reflect how they find my voice trustworthy and calming, which helps them feel relaxed—something I genuinely appreciate.
I have worked with many vulnerable clients who struggle with trust in their lives. They arrive in therapy feeling hesitant, questioning if they'll be able to share and open up and unsure if they'll trust the voice they hear. I have consistently built and gained their trust through my gentle approach, resulting in meaningful and successful outcomes. This connection is essential for creating our supportive therapeutic relationship, which forms the foundation of our sessions.
Through the warmth and understanding I bring to my sessions, I will ensure you feel supported in a way that feels right for you.

Background
As a counsellor, I have supported local charities and collaborated with GP referrals. As a long-term Cruse Bereavement Counsellor, I am experienced in providing compassionate support both over the phone and face-to-face for those grappling with grief. My goal is to help you feel less alone as you work through the unpredictable stages of your grief.
