Kate | Integrative Counsellor
Counselling Tiverton
Hello and welcome! I'm Kate, an experienced, qualified Counsellor, (accredited to the BACP) and I am passionate about this profession.
Maybe you have a clear idea of why you are considering counselling, or maybe you would like to explore a more general feeling you have. I offer you a safe and non-judgemental space to explore these feelings of concern or distress that you are experiencing at the moment.
Counselling is an opportunity to take time for yourself; time to explore, and understand your concerns and distress, and the options this understanding offers you. I believe we all have the answers to our concerns and distress, sometimes it is just making time to explore them. This is what counselling can give you.
During our first session we will discuss what has brought you here, and explore what you would like to get out of our sessions. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions and to get a sense of whether I could be the right therapist for you.
If you would like to book a session or ask any questions, please send me a message.

Online therapy
During the Covid 19 pandemic on-line counselling became possible, and for some people this has remained the preferred way to work. I offer the choice to work remotely using Zoom. Working online can feel different from being in the same room, but it can nevertheless be an extremely effective form of therapy.
The BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) have offered guidance and recommendations about working online, which I take account of to ensure my practice remains highly professional.
