My name is Susie, a qualified hypnotherapist in Highworth, Wiltshire, and online, working with people of all walks of life to help them overcome issues and make positive lasting changes in their lives.You may feel anxious about something specific like an upcoming exam, or simply feel stuck in life and need some support moving forward or achieving a better balance. Online Hypnotherapy
Many people assume that hypnotherapy can only work when the practitioner is in the same room as the client, but this is simply not true. I routinely deliver hypnotherapy over Zoom, WhatsApp or Teams, and the feedback is always extremely positive. Working online from the comfort of one’s own home further allows clients to feel more relaxed and enjoy greater privacy. This added comfort makes it easier to enter a relaxed and receptive state of mind, needed for effective hypnotherapy to take place. Being able to work in this way also allows us to be more flexible with timings and means you don’t have to worry about the cost and stress of travelling to my practice.

It is quite normal to feel anxious in seeking help and you are free to get in touch before deciding to book your first session of hypnotherapy. This is your chance to ask me any questions and see if we’re the right fit for each other. I will then send you an initial consultation form, which allows me to understand your current situation, for us to establish expectations and what you want to get out of hypnotherapy – meaning I can personalise treatment closely to your needs. Everyone is different, so taking this time to learn about you is a fundamental part of delivering the best possible form of solution-focused hypnotherapy.
FIRST SESSION
Our first session will be about isolating the particular issue you want to work on, understanding its role in your life, so we can determine what you need to move beyond this problem. Hypnotherapy is a targeted form of treatment, so usually clients only need around six sessions to work through the issue. If you are working on something specific, like stopping smoking, it may be that you only need one or two sessions. Every individual is different, so we always work in accordance with your particular situation.

During my sessions she demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expertise. She took the time to thoroughly explain the process of hypnotherapy and provided an opportunity to address any concerns or questions I had before we started. This helped me feel at ease.
During the hypnotherapy sessions she exhibited understanding of a variety of hypnosis techniques and tailored the sessions to meet my specific needs and goals which evolved over time, so when something appeared I could voice it as a priority for our next session and this tailored it to my journey. My needs adapted over time as I have become increasingly more able to work on certain issues whilst remaining calm and open minded.
