Jade | Person-Centred Counsellor
Online Counselling Leicester
-- I am currently only offering online counselling --
Hey, I’m Jade (she/her), a person-centred therapist offering online counselling that’s flexible, down-to-earth, and shaped around you.
You might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to turn next. Maybe you feel you’re constantly falling behind while everyone else seems to have it all figured out. Maybe anxiety, self-doubt, or overthinking makes even small decisions feel impossible. Or maybe life just feels a lot right now, and you don’t know where to start. You don’t have to go through this alone. Therapy can be a space to slow down, reflect, and start making sense of things in a way that feels right for you.
You don’t have to have all the answers—that’s what therapy is for.
I know that reaching out can feel like a big step, especially if you’re unsure what to expect or whether you’ll find the right fit. I offer a relaxed, judgment-free space where you can talk about whatever’s on your mind, at your own pace. There’s no pressure, no expectation and no rigid structure. Whatever you’re going through, we’ll work through it together.
I often support people who are struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, identity, big life changes, or just feeling lost. I also have experience working with neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients, creating a space where you can feel seen and understood without having to explain yourself. Others don’t have a specific “problem” but feel stuck or disconnected and want to explore what’s going on beneath the surface. Whatever’s brought you here, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
I work online, meaning you can access support from wherever you feel most comfortable, as long as you are in a confidential space. No stressful commutes, no awkward waiting rooms, just a space where you can show up exactly as you are.
If you’re thinking about therapy but aren’t sure where to start, I offer a free 20-minute consultation so we can have a chat and see if we’re a good fit. You don’t have to figure everything out alone. Let’s take it one step at a time. If you have any questions or would like to book an appointment, please send me a message via the send a message - button.
Online therapy
Online therapy with me is designed to be accessible, flexible, and comfortable, so you can feel supported how ever feels best for you.
Sessions can take place online or over the phone. If we work together online, sessions will take place via a secure and easy-to-use video platform. Before our session, I’ll send you a private meeting link, and all you need to do is click to join.
If video calls aren’t your thing, I also offer telephone as an alternative. In this case, I will call you at your agreed session start time.
Online or telephone therapy allows you to have the same level of support as in-person sessions, without the stress of commuting or sitting in a waiting room.

Specialisations and Expertises
Therapy with me is open-ended, meaning there’s no set number of sessions or rigid structure—you decide how long we work together and what we focus on. We will check-in at various points to see how things are going.
In a person-centred approach, therapy isn’t about ticking boxes or following a strict plan; it’s about you—your experiences, your pace, and what feels important to bring to each session. Some people come with a specific goal in mind, while others simply need a space to explore their thoughts and feelings as they arise.
There’s no rush, no pressure, and no expectation to "fix" things within a certain timeframe. Some clients have just a few sessions to work through something short-term, while others continue for as long as they find it helpful. However long you choose to engage in therapy, I provide a safe, supportive space where you can show up as you are.
Most common issues I support people with:
1️⃣ Anxiety & OverthinkingAnxiety can feel like your brain is constantly stuck in overdrive—racing thoughts, worst-case scenarios, and that uneasy feeling you just can’t shake. Whether it’s social anxiety, generalised anxiety, panic attacks, or excessive overthinking, I help people learn to manage their thoughts, reduce overwhelm, and feel more in control of their emotions.
Struggling with confidence, feeling “not good enough,” or constantly second-guessing yourself? Low self-esteem can impact everything—from relationships to work and decision-making. Together, we explore the root causes of self-doubt, challenge negative self-talk, and help you start seeing yourself with more kindness and self-acceptance.
Big changes—whether it’s moving, changing jobs, leaving or starting university, or just feeling lost—can bring a mix of excitement and fear. If you’re feeling stuck, directionless, or overwhelmed by what’s next, therapy can help you gain clarity, explore your options, and build confidence in your path forward.
Many people I work with are LGBTQ+ and/or neurodivergent, navigating identity, relationships, and the challenges that come with existing in a world that isn’t always designed for them. I offer a space where you don’t have to explain yourself—just be yourself, without judgment.
Sometimes, life just feels like too much. Maybe you’re juggling too many responsibilities, constantly pushing through stress, or feeling emotionally drained without knowing why. Burnout doesn’t just happen at work—it can affect your entire sense of well-being. Therapy helps you learn to set boundaries, manage stress, and recharge without guilt.
