Michael | Psychotherapist
Psychotherapy and Counselling Bloomsbury - London
I became a therapist after a long career in the arts. It was a job that gave me an in depth understanding of human nature and the difficulties that life can put in our way - The relationships we struggle with, the complex feelings and anxieties we have about ourselves, the events, out of our control, that have left deep scars, or the enormity of life itself and coping with the feeling of being overwhelmed. I'm here to help you make sense of the problems you are experiencing and find a positive way forward.
What to expect from our sessions.
It's possible that the thought of talking to someone about what you're going through might be worrying. I will provide a calm, empathic environment where you can put yourself first and, without pressure, talk about anything that is causing you difficulties. We will carefully look at what's behind the challenges you are facing and, by understanding the underlying thoughts and experiences, make the changes you need for a more positive future.
I can imagine that making the decision to have therapy might not have been easy. I want to reassure you that you can talk to me in confidence, knowing I will always have your best interests at heart and want to be with you - however difficult the process - to support, listen and help.
Please feel free to email, text or call for more information.
Together we will make a positive difference to your life.
The rooms we will meet in are light and airy and on the 4th floor, away from busy London life. Access is via stairs and there is a small waiting room and toilet.
If you have any questions or concerns please do get in touch. I very much want to hear from you.

Online therapy
I have a lot of experience of working with clients online. I use Google Meet or Zoom. It is important to have a quiet space where you won't be interupted or overheard and you can have time to be you. I will send you a link before our meeting and be ready to greet you just before the allotted time.Qualifications and registrations

I qualified with a Diploma in Psychotherapy through the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB) which is the UK's leading awarding body specialising in psychotherapy.
