Lily | Psychotherapist

Psychotherapy Islington - London

I work with people facing problems and challenges to help them heal, grow and transform their lives. I enable my clients to access their inner wisdom and live with a renewed sense of purpose, conviction and authenticity. I see clients face-to-face in Islington, Paddington and Online.

I utilise depth psychology and a transpersonal approach to find the root cause of issues and facilitate a journey of self-discovery. Together, we will process experiences, emotions, interpersonal relationships, and life patterns to make the unconscious conscious, gain self-awareness and attune to the needs of the psyche.

Therapy is a safe, confidential space to discuss your circumstances with a trained professional that may be hard to speak about elsewhere. Sharing your history and feelings with someone is deeply personal and takes courage. This will be responded to with respect, compassion, non-judgement and professionalism.

Online therapy

I am also experienced in offering online counselling and psychotherapy.

I use Zoom as an online platform and work with clients weekly at a prescheduled time.

Online therapy offers clients flexibility and the ability to see me from their home and while travelling.

You will need a quiet, confidential place where you can talk freely without interruption or being overheard by others.

Specialisations

I welcome clients from all walks of life to my practice. I work well with creative individuals and deep thinkers such as writers, artists, musicians, sensitive souls and those who feel alienated by society. My experience of working as a bereavement counsellor has given me confidence working with the grieving process, existential problems, male clients, and those seeking new meaning in life after undergoing a tragedy.I offer both short and long-term therapy. The amount of sessions you will require varies and will be discussed with you. Many clients come to therapy to work on a specific issue short-term, but others would like a therapist to work at depth and attend open-ended therapy for several years.

I trained in transpersonal, Jungian, humanistic, existential, and psychodynamic therapy models. This allows me to use my intuition and skillset to cater therapy to each client's unique needs. I use traditional methods such as talking therapy and may include creative techniques such as active imagination, dream work, archetypal psychology, shadow work, and visualisations to empower and heal the disquieted mind, body and spirit.

Most common issues I support people with:

Common issues brought to therapy that I am experienced in working with include depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, self-destructive habits, low self-esteem and stress. I am also experienced in working with personal development, creative blocks, life crises, trauma, betrayal, anger, narcissistic issues, mental and physical health diagnoses, imposter syndrome and perfectionism.

Fees

Sessions are £80 and are 50 minutes each week.

Concessions are available from £60. This applies to students and those struggling financially or on a low-income salary without external support.

Therapy shows a commitment to change and growth. It works best when it takes place consistently. If you would like to work together, we can meet for a consultation and find a good weekly appointment time that suits our schedules.

I offer a complimentary 15-minute introductory call before booking an appointment.
