Gabrielle | Integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor

Counselling Glastonbury

Welcome! I am an experienced and fully qualified Person-Centred, Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I work with adults of all ages and from many different backgrounds. Whether you are experiencing a life crisis or transition, feeling anxious or depressed, or wanting to understand difficult past experiences, I will offer you confidential, accepting and professional support. I'd like to help you find more clarity and peace of mind so that you can move forward with greater confidence in yourself and a deeper understanding of how you can live a meaningful life. We will work with what feels relevant and helpful to you.

I can help with a wide variety of issues such as stress and anxiety, depression, life transitions, bereavement, low self-esteem, identity, suicidal thoughts, relationship issues, parenting and unhelpful patterns of behaviour. These might be the result of current circumstances that are distressing or connected to past experiences which feel unresolved.
If you decide to contact me I hope that you will experience me as a warm, sensitive and down-to-earth person from our first meeting and that you will feel listened to deeply and understood.

More about me

I’m an Integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor with Person-centred approach at the heart of my practice.

Having experienced the benefits of counselling and psychotherapy myself, I have first-hand experience of the personal growth that can occur when working with a non-judgmental, empathic therapist. I have a background in the Creative Arts with a BA (hons.) in Mixed-media art and textiles. My creative practice is part of my own therapeutic process and brings meaning to me. Along with being in nature, I find having an ongoing commitment to regular meditation and mindfulness practice helps to restore and ground me.

Rich experiences throughout my life such as travelling and living abroad when younger; becoming a mother and working in a variety of environments before studying as a mature student, have helped me to feel comfortable relating to people from all walks of life.

If you would like to know more or book an appointment, please send me a message.
