Counselling Colchester
We may all experience a time in our life that is hard and when we may need a little help. Sometimes the way we feel can affect our everyday lives, including relationships, our ability to carry out activities and can cause distress.
I’m a qualified and experienced counsellor. In my practice I offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk to me about anything, whether it is your current situation that is troubling you or something that happened in the past.
I have worked at Life-Force Colchester and in private practice gaining a broad experience in general counselling. I also work as bereavement counsellor for St Helena Hospice.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Making a positive change
By listening and paying close attention to what you are saying I gain insight into your world. Together we unravel any confused thoughts, feelings and beliefs, helping you develop a greater understanding of yourself, your life and your relationships. This will empower you to take control over your future so that you can make positive changes, overcome difficulties and feel better.
I will work collaboratively with you using encouragement and gentle challenging, with a strong sense of respect and autonomy. I believe we all have the ability to find the answers for ourselves, sometimes we just need a little help getting there.
The first session is an assessment session in which we can explore the possibility of working together and if my approach is going to be helpful for you. I know how important it is for someone to find the right counsellor for them, so I'm happy to help with a short introduction to my services over the phone. Are you ready to make changes?
I welcome clients from Colchester, Layer de la Haye, Wivenhoe, Marks Tey, Alresford, Brightlingsea and surrounding areas.

Tracy is a very kind woman, she made me feel very welcome and made it easy and comfortable to talk with. Tracy has a very good way of explaining on all different topics, she made it easy for me to understand the different problems we can face and gave brilliant positive outlooks to work with.
Tracy is very educated in her line of work and puts all her knowledge to very good use. Tracy's a great listener and has a very good way of understanding what the problem is we may be facing.
Tracy has taught me so much in a short space of time. She has enabled me to grieve in a safe environment and empowered me to feel happier about myself. My self esteem has grown along the way and she has given me strategies to reduce anxiety. If you’re considering counselling, I would highly recommend Tracy as a counsellor.
I have known Tracy for 20 years. She trained as a Cousellor in the last 10 years and having had her own life experiences has progressed into a brilliant Counsellor. The attachment theory she bases her sessions on are outstanding.
She specialises in bereavement, all forms of relationship blockages and helps people unblock their pathway to profession in a positive way. I can highly recommend this type of counselling for anyone as you do not need to wait for a crisis to occur.
Tracy is absolutely brilliant at helping people see the way to unblock any obstacles. Superb and worth every penny.
