Kirsty | Person-Centred Counsellor

Counselling Ealing - West London

Welcome to my profile. I am a fully qualified person-centred counsellor working from the heart of Ealing Broadway.

Maybe you are looking for a counsellor to talk about a specific problem, or maybe things just aren't quite right at the moment. Whatever you are going through, I would like to help.

As a person-centred counsellor I believe that we all have the capacity and the wisdom to resolve our difficulties and to improve our lives, however this ability to know what is right for us can become blocked when we are in distress and have negative life experiences.

Warm, empathic and non-judgemental

I offer a warm, empathic and non-judgemental space for you to gently explore and develop a greater understanding of what’s going on in your life. We will work collaboratively and at your own pace.

I welcome clients from all different cultures, ages, sexualities and walks of life, and I can offer you support with a variety of problems including:

  • Affairs and betrayals
  • Cultural and integration issues
  • Depression and low mood
  • Desire for self-awareness
  • Desire for personal development

  • Loneliness
  • LGBT issues
  • Aging/Menopause
  • Pregnancy difficulties
  • Work related issues

Entering therapy can be the first step to changing your life. You will learn more about yourself and gain more self-belief which will enable you to make positive changes and have clarity as to the causes of your problems.

My background

I trained at Metanoia Institute and completed a Diploma in Person-centred counselling. I also hold a BA Hons from Middlesex University for Person-centred counselling. I have a CBT certificate from The Grove, London and a certificate in TA101 from Iron Mill College in Poole.

Outside of my private practice, I have experience of seeing clients from many different cultural and social backgrounds at Metanoia Counselling and Psychotherapy Services (MCPS), The Counselling Partnership, Place2Be and Ealing Abbey Counselling Services (EACS). These are all not-for profit organisations providing low-cost counselling within the community.

I mostly work with clients suffering with anxiety, bereavement and relationship issues, but I also welcome clients dealing with other problems, or clients who just want to talk to someone outside of their day-to-day life.

Online therapy

I work in person at my Ealing office and online via Zoom or Skype.
