Counselling Shefford
Life at present and the world we live in, is possibly at it's most challenging. Feelings of crippling anxiety or depression can make life feel, at times, that every day is insurmountable. You may be struggling with 'fitting' in and unsure of exactly who you are. Maybe you suspect you have ADHD/ASD or you are at pre/post diagnosis? You've lost someone close to you and the grief and bereavment is just too much to cope with? Your relationships in life with others and with yourself resonates a real 'stuckness' and you just don't know how to move forward? Your struggling emotionally to make sense of it all?
Maybe it's time to seek help and maybe Person-Centred therapy can be that help? I'm Chemene and I am a Person-centred Counsellor. I recognise it's a difficult task finding someone who will listen and understand what you are going through. I offer a safe space for you to grow at a pace which is comfortable for you. Without judgement and in a supportive and collaborative way.
I am a qualified, registered person-centred counsellor and I work with adults and young people (11-18 years.) I have worked with a variety of issues including grief/bereavment, complex grief, suicidal ideation, anxiety, depression, ADHD/ASD and relationship/couples work. I have a special interest in working with grief and supporting people with neurodivergence and it's impact within relationships as well as within gender and social transitions.
Wherever you are, currently in your life, I'll meet you there and stay with you on this journey until you are where you want to be. Your pace, your story, your safe space to grow.
I offer a free 20 minute introductory session for you to get to know me. Also, I can gain an understanding of what you'd like to get from our time together. Please contact me if you feel you'd like an informal chat.
Many thanks,
Chemene
