Online and telephone counselling
Life offers challenging moments. It is possible to get stuck at an important junction of life’s path. My commitment is to work with you to explore and help gain insight into the difficulties or unexpected challenges that may have left you feeling overwhelmed or lost.
I offer a non-judgmental, empathic and confidential space to facilitate a good therapeutic relationship in which to heal.
How I work
I offer online counselling and video call counselling using Zoom, WhatsApp, Telegram or your preferred platform. I ask that you be in a private and confidential space.
The first appointment gives us the opportunity to get a feel of how we might work together. You get a chance to ask questions that you may have regarding how I work. I get to find out a bit about you, and your reasons for seeking counselling.

Following the initial appointment, we then arrange a regular weekly session, preferably on the same day and time.
Some people feel they may require more than one session per week. This is fine too, depending on your circumstances and time availability for both of us.
About me
I practice from a Person-Centred Approach. As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I use knowledge gained from different therapeutic modalities covered in my Masters degree. I also draw knowledge from my PhD in a social science related field and work experience accrued over 20 years of working with people in diverse contexts and different NHS job roles.
I abide by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy's (BACP) rigorous code of ethics. I am accredited and fully insured. I embrace equality and offer services to all.

My recent specialist training is in Person Centered Experiential Counselling for Depression.Effective shorterm counselling in my experience usually requires between 6-15 sessions. Psychotherapy usually requires longer, a few months or more depending on problem complexity.
