Kayleigh | Counsellor

Therapy Basingstoke

Hi, I'm Kayleigh. As an integrative counsellor and trauma-informed therapist, I'm here to support you, especially if you have experienced trauma. It could be a one-off incident or something that happened over a long period of time. You may not always know if you've been affected by trauma, so some of the ways it can show up in your daily life are anxiety, depression, anger, addiction, low self-esteem, problems with sleep, lack of libido, social detachment, loneliness, stress and overwhelm.

If you are experiencing any of these, or if general life events are impacting you and your mental health is suffering, it doesn't have to stay that way!

I work integratively, which essentially means I use a tailored approach to suit you and your needs. I work on building a relationship and gaining your trust so you feel comfortable talking about your experiences.

Together, we will explore your past and present feelings in order to process them and move forward with a better understanding of yourself. Building your self-awareness can lead to clarity and more informed decisions in your day-to-day life. This can provide relief from anxieties and intrusive thoughts, creating a more content and peaceful thought process.

I work with adults over 18 years and offer both short-term and open-ended counselling.

Online therapy

I provide face-to-face sessions from my home garden therapy room, as well as online. (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet).

Each session lasts for 50 minutes whether it's in person or online.
