Hello. My name is Sally, and my style of counselling is integrative which means I draw from many different theory types in order to match them to your needs.

I like to work in a person centered way which means putting you first and allowing you to guide me with what you bring to the session, which then enables us to work together to help you to improve how you are feeling..

I currently also work in the field of mental health and frequently support people who experience, depression and anxiety also people with a diagnosis of bi-polar, schizophrenia, personality disorders and people in crisis.

I have worked in the care industry for over 24 years and have experience of supporting many different people including children, adults and older adults.

The people that I have worked with have had varying levels of physical and mental health abilities. This includes adults with learning difficulties and autism.

Online therapy

I also offer online counselling which can be through google meet or teams.
Online counselling can be a very convenient option for people with busy lives or limited mobility.
For some talking from the comfort of their own home can allow them to feel less exposed and more able to express themselves.


Prior to our scheduled meeting, I will send you a link to our meeting and you can join me online in a secure connection. It works the same as a face to face session but on a screen instead.

Degree in psychology with honours

Foundation degree in Nursing

Aniety - looking at when you feel most anxious and how you could do things differently in order to leeson the intensity. Working with you to build up your coping skills.

Depression - working with you to take small steps to improve your connections with people and your support networks. Helping you to feel more positive, motivated.and less overwhelmed.

OCD - Identifying your behaviours and exploring triggers and maintenance thinking. Offering other options and alternative thinking.

Self-harm - Working with you to identify your triggers and offer safer ways to meet your need to self harm. Exploring ways in which you can lessen the frequency by improving your coping skills.

Stress - identifying your stress triggers and exploring ways to lessen the expectations and pressures on you whilst still navigating the "to do" list.
