Anna | Counsellor and psychotherapist

Counselling Ellesmere Port

My name is Anna, I am a passionate, fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. I offer counselling to individuals in my quiet, conveniently counselling room in Ellesmere Port.

People turn to counselling for different reasons. You may experience anxiety and stress, fears, depression, relationship issues, feeling misunderstood or simply need someone to listen to you in a confidential environment. You may not want to share your worries with family or friends in the fear of being misunderstood or judged. Talking to a professionally trained counsellor can help and it can often bring relief.

How I work

My aim is to empower you and provide you with a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space where you can explore your feelings, ways of thinking and own patterns of behaviour. In that space, you will be able to become more aware of your needs, goals and dreams, and work towards a journey of self-discovery.

I practice therapy by using an integrative style. This means I can combine various approaches to meet your specific needs. My practice has a strong humanistic foundation but I integrate other modalities into it which include Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), depending on your specific needs in any particular moment.

About me

My friends describe me as a compassionate, supportive person with a good sense of humour. I am down to earth, I love nature, reading and exploring new information online.

Having experienced my own ups and downs I understand that we can sometimes feel too overwhelmed or embarrassed to make the first step and seek professional help. I am not here to judge or diagnose you but to help you explore what you yourself want to change or keep in your life.

Please send me a message if you have any questions. I will contact you as soon as I can.
