Zak | Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor - Psychotherapist - Mindfulness practitioner
Counselling Cheshunt
My name is Zak and I am a qualified and experienced integrative psychotherapist, counsellor and mindfulness practitioner, I am also the founder of a growing private practice in Cheshunt.
I offer short and long term psychotherapy and counselling to individuals and couples, offering you a warm, confidential, and non-judgemental environment for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a space where you can feel comfortable, understood and heard.
I firmly believe that people are wonderfully complex, unique and diverse, and cannot be categorised or boxed within any specific theory or orientation, so I like to work with whatever a client may need, at any particular moment, that helps them grow and move forward, towards self awareness and change.
I work in an integrative, adaptive and relational way, drawing upon many modalities and techniques that I have studied, that helps inform the therapeutic process.
I am not here to analyse, diagnose, label or judge anyone and I do not offer advice or opinions, I will simply offer you the ideal therapeutic conditions for you to explore your world and experiences at your own pace, helping you to cultivate a self awareness that can lead you to discovering your own solutions to your own problems.
I pride my practice on the autonomy, empathy and compassion for all clients, as I recognise and I am fully aware, that the client is the expert on themselves and that the relationship is the most important aspect of the therapeutic process and change.
By already taking that first important step in seeking counselling, you will have already planted the valuable seed of self-awareness, I will simply offer you the ideal therapeutic conditions that will allow that seed to be cultivated and nurtured, with patience, care and compassion, alongside it’s journey of growth and change.
If you would like to know more or book an appointment, please send me a message.
