Counselling and Psychotherapy Sherborne
Life can sometimes be complicated and challenging, leaving us feeling confused, frustrated & overwhelmed. We may feel stuck and unable to change and don’t know what to do.
The first step in returning our healthy functioning and regaining control, is to seek help, and by being here, you’ve taken that first step, give yourself a pat-on-the-back, well done.
Taking the second step, engaging a therapist, takes courage, I speak from personal experience, and that courage will be well rewarded.
We all experience life in a unique way, our journey to where we are, rarely happens like we expected.
Talking things through can help develop a greater understanding of yourself, more control and emotional regulation, to lead a more fulfilling life.
Offering short & long-term interventions, whether symptom specific or deeper meaning-centred & existential transitions, I’m not limited to a single methodology, but we together, tailor-make a unique process, specific for and with the individual. You're the boss!
This includes flexibility on times, frequency, access in-person or online, whichever suits you.
Contact for an initial no obligation consultation.
Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist & Clinical Supervisor available for new clients.
Practicing since 2010 in organisations including NHS, Substance Misuse & Recovery, Older Adults and Staff Support.
Online therapy
The great thing about accessing therapy online is that it's universal. You are not limited by locality, travelling or special access.
You will need sufficient technology (laptop/phone and internet access).

Specialisations and Expertises
Working with Symptoms is just one part of therapy, understanding the under-lying internal conflicts is another, resolving these conflicts on a deep, rundamental level is where true change can be affected.I believe given time, space and the right questions, you have the answers to living a fulfilling life.
Most common issues I support people with:
Anxiety - Often the first sign of our mental wellbeing becoming an issue, we feel 'stressed out'.Depression/Low Mood - Stuck, feeling down and unmotivated. Existentially lost.
Life Transitions - Changes in ourselves and our world require adjustments, which are often difficult.
Bereavement, Grief & Loss - Something everyone experiences at some stage, yet is unique to all of us.
Relationship Issues - We all have them, so why are they so difficult?
