My name is Elinor and I am a qualified Relationship and Psychosexual Therapist. I work with both individuals and couples experiencing relationship and sexual difficulties. I work 100% online via Zoom.
I offer a warm, friendly and compassionate therapeutic approach that will empower you to make the changes you need in your life and in your relationships.

I specialise in:

  • helping couples reconnect, improve communication and have fun in their relationship once more
  • working with individual clients who need support to recover from divorce, break up, familiy difficulties or childhood traumas
  • helping men & women struggling with sexual difficulties to get their spark back and enjoy their sex life again
  • helping divorcing clients to separate better and amicably to improve the future for their family
I am based in Hampshire but work remotely 100% of the time via Zoom, and am only accepting referrals for clients looking for online therapy. I find online sessions are very effective due to the higher attendance rate and means that clients aren't limited by location when choosing a suitable therapist.

How I work

I offer several ways of working:
  1. Long and short term therapy for couples and individuals (approx 6-20 sessions on average)
  2. One-off sessions for a quick blast of professional guidance
  3. Therapeutic Coaching programmes
I work with everyone whether they are married, single, in a long term relationship, in an open relationship or something else! I celebrate the potential of all types of relationships and welcome clients of all sexual, gender and relationship diversities. I focus on the patterns and dynamics of your relationship and try to understand what has led to some of these issues occurring, without looking to blame or shame.

I see clients for a wide range of reasons, which may include:

  • Losing the spark in their relationship
  • Low self esteem and poor body image
  • Loving their partner but not being 'in love' anymore
  • Women with low sex drive/ not feeling much sexual desire for their partner
  • Infidelity, affairs and trust issues
  • Communication difficulties and arguments
  • Reconnecting as a couple
  • Support during divorce or relationship breakdown
  • Fertility issues
  • Sexual and intimacy difficulties including unreliable erections, male and female low desire, pain, and ejaculation difficulties
  • Exploring your sexuality or gender identity
  • Difficulties dating or maintaining relationships
  • Support after sexual trauma/abuse

I have over 15 years of experience working and volunteering in mental health services, including the NHS, Relate, The Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships and as a School Counsellor. I am fully insured and a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT). I offer a compassionate, open minded, sex positive and professional approach, based on Systemic, Psychodynamic and CBT principles and the latest psychosexual therapy research.

I offer a 15 minute free consultation so please do contact me to arrange this, during which I would be happy to discuss my fee options.

Online therapy

I offer online therapy via Zoom, or Facetime if preferred. Online therapy is very similar to face to face therapy, and I have found that many clients find that it fits better into their other life commitments than attending face to face.

Please feel free to ask any questions or discuss any concerns you might have about starting online counselling.
