Helen | Counsellor
Counselling Tarvin - Chester
I offer an open and inclusive space to overthinkers and high achievers. My approach to counselling is about the balance between "I hear you" and "let’s figure this out".
In your counselling session, you are not your job. If low self-esteem or low confidence are having an impact on your life, know there is another pathway we can choose to walk.
Some time and space is needed to pause, get some clarity and awareness and then choose again.
So if you’re ready to be brave and untangle your life, I’m ready to empower you to live your life the way you want to live it and do what makes you feel happy. I look forward to meeting you.
Therapy sessions are flexible and can be on a weekly, bi-monthly or monthly basis depending on your needs
Online therapy
Online therapy is in many ways more accessible and flexible than face to face therapy.
I will send you an appointment which our session time on and this has a simple link to follow. There is no need for you to download any software or have a password.
I use a GDPR compliant system which is secure.
Most clients arrange online sessions from a private room either at home or in the office, however I had had several clients who join on the phone from a parked car. this gives them the feeling of being totally privacy.
I also work over the telephone and will give you a call at the agreed time. Some clients feel happier with the added layer of anonymity, or disike being on screen.
I feel face to face, video and telephone are all very effective ways of accessing counselling, the most important thing is you feeling able to freely talk and share whatever you need.

Female, 34
"Right from the first session, Helen has made me feel at ease and comfortable to talk about anything. She is a great listener, but the real value I found in talking with Helen was the understanding she has helped me build in myself, my needs and my life. My perspectives have shifted and I feel more confident in handling traumatic experiences. I hope everyone finds a Helen that can help them in a similar way."
