Therapists and counsellors in Oxfordshire

Hello, I’m Emma, I am a qualified integrative counsellor. I am currently working online and by telephone. I also offer walk and talk therapy in and around the West Oxfordshire area.

I am a UKCP registered Family Therapist. My main focus is on relationships, seeing couples (sometimes with one partner on their own), co-parents or parents and children (across all generations). I will usually help you explore why patterns from your family of origin are affecting your relationships now and find a way forward, often by improving communication, and support you in making the changes you decide to make.

There may be times when you feel stuck, face challenges, struggle to cope, or simply want to understand yourself better. You might not always know where to turn. Speaking with a warm, non-judgmental counsellor in a safe, confidential space can offer the support you need to live a more fulfilling and resourceful life. In our sessions, we can explore your experiences and feelings, that may be troubling or distressing. I am aiming to create a respectful, supportive relationship where you can heal, grow & restore connections

As a GestaIt psychotherapist I believe in the profound impact of embracing the present moment and delving into the interconnectedness of mind, body, and environment. Through a compassionate and client-centered approach, I accompany individuals, couples, families and groups on a path of self-development, nurturing awareness, acceptance, and authenticity.

I am an integrative counsellor and coach, working with adults and young people in East Oxford or online. I meet you where you are on your journey, from beginning to speak your truth, to rebalancing your conflicts, to making and sustaining important changes. My specialities include but are not limited to: culture shock, chronic pain, cultivating your creativity, LGBT issues, including non-traditional relationship styles.

I am a caring and compassionate counsellor offering therapeutic counselling for a range of concerns. I will offer you the time and space that you need to work through your issues. Life can often be uncertain and sometimes we need some help and support through these times. I will listen to you and try to help you find the solutions to make the changes you want in your life. I hold a professional membership with BACP and work to their Ethical Framework to give you the best level of counselling I can.
