Through a compassionate and client-centered approach, I accompany individuals, couples, families and groups on a path of self-development, nurturing awareness, acceptance, and authenticity.

I am an integrative counsellor and coach, working with adults and young people in East Oxford or online. I meet you where you are on your journey, from beginning to speak your truth, to rebalancing your conflicts, to making and sustaining important changes. My specialities include but are not limited to: culture shock, chronic pain, cultivating your creativity, LGBT issues, including non-traditional relationship styles.

There may be times when you feel stuck, face challenges, struggle to cope, or simply want to understand yourself better. You might not always know where to turn. Speaking with a warm, non-judgmental counsellor in a safe, confidential space can offer the support you need to live a more fulfilling and resourceful life. In our sessions, we can explore your experiences and feelings, that may be troubling or distressing. Hello, I'm Lisa and I am a qualified Counsellor with a level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I became a Counsellor as I've always been interested in listening to people and training to be a Counsellor felt like a natural extension of that interest in people.

I am a UKCP registered Family Therapist. My main focus is on relationships, seeing couples (sometimes with one partner on their own), co-parents or parents and children (across all generations). I will usually help you explore why patterns from your family of origin are affecting your relationships now and find a way forward, often by improving communication, and support you in making the changes you decide to make.

Adulting is hard, isn’t it? Constantly having to make everyday choices and life changing decisions can be overwhelming and paralysing. It might seem like everyone has it all figured out but you. What’s wrong with you, you think. Something has got to change you say, but as much as you try, you end up in the same repeating cycles. Anxiety just keep growing. Your self-esteem is plummeting. Relationships are suffering or non-existent. Work is becoming meaningless or an escape from it all.
