I have experience working with a diverse range of clients of different ages, cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and spiritual beliefs. I use an integrative approach, supporting you on your journey to healing and mind-body-spirit wellbeing. Inspiring my clients to be all that they are capable of being, providing strategies to live fully and helping them accomplish their life goals, is the most rewarding part of my work.

I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist providing face to face, online and telephone therapy, using an integrative approach. This means I use a variety of approaches including: person-centred; transactional analysis; psychodynamic; gestalt and; cognitive behavioural therapies. I am also a trained drama therapist; we are able to use creative media to explore your difficulties if that interests you.
My therapy room is based in Eggborough, South of Selby in North Yorkshire.​

Telephone and online sessions (via video - using Zoom, Skype, whatsapp etc) are available. Individual and Couples therapy offered.

I offer online therapy via Zoom, WhatsApp or by using the telephone. This can be for either short-term or long-term work. Online counselling provides an opportunity to explore a personal difficulty in a confidential and supportive environment, without the need to travel.

I'm Dr Lydia with over 25 years experience. My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in empathy and a safe, supportive space for clients. With specialized training in addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), which often underpin most mental health challenges, I am committed to guiding individuals toward healing, self-discovery, and resilience through person-centred therapy.
My therapy sessions are all held online via Zoom, making it convenient for all my clients.
