Welcome to my couples therapy practice, where I specialize in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) – a research-backed approach proven to yield long-term positive outcomes for up to 80% of couples.

I help clients navigate through their intrusive thoughts, find clarity and supporting them to make choices and confidence to truly express what they need. Looking at what is triggering and ways to manage overwhelming thoughts and feelings, and helping them find a sense of calm in their lives.

My name is Ilona. I am a highly experienced counsellor providing short and long term therapy. My clients are central to my work and my practice was born from the desire to help people feel fulfilled, empowered and happy in their lives. I work with both individuals and couples.

I am a person-centred therapist, offering face to face, online and telephone counselling in the East Sussex area.

Taking the step towards a counselling relationship can feel daunting, but the first step is the hardest. I offer a safe and confidential environment, for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and often memories to enable you to lead a well balanced life.

No-one starts out in life feeling they will need counselling and it takes courage and bravery to seek help. Whatever the issue, i.e. relationship, bereavement, loss, alcohol dependency, perfectionism, fear of failure, etc. the chances are your behaviour is a symptom of a deeper issue. As humans we have memory and along life's journey we learn patterns which serve us yet today these learnt patterns may be hindering. The great thing, what is learnt can be unlearnt, if you learn how. Welcome to our counselling practice, we are a close-knit team of highly experienced, fully qualified compassionate counsellors offering counselling for adults, couples/relationships, and counselling supervision. We work with and offer support for a diverse range of emotional challenges, from depression, anxiety and ADHD to relationship issues and trauma, among others.
