My name is Julia. I am a professionally certified Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Life Coach. When you are finding things difficult, my counselling offers the opportunity for you to explore whatever is on your mind.

That’s why I set up my counselling practice: to offer my clients a little beacon of light that helps them navigate through the darkness.

I can work with you on a number of life problems such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues in a way that suits your needs. I will help you become more in touch and aware of feelings, thoughts and barriers in your life.

I am a qualified psychotherapist based in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. I work with individual clients as well as with couples and relationships. I trained as a body psychotherapist at the Cambridge Centre for Body Psychotherapy and as a couple and relationship therapist at the Gestalt Centre in London. I offer weekly in person sessions of 60 mins for individual psychotherapy and fortnightly sessions of 75 or 90 mins for couple and relationship therapy.

Therapy involves noticing and sometimes challenging the ways we think about ourselves, our past and the situations we find ourselves in. Over time this awareness can empower us to be true to ourselves and be more resilient. Working with a therapist provides a trusting and supportive space to focus on what’s going on for you.

You can expect dynamic & creative support from my practice, working directly with a qualified therapist to support you in understanding what is emerging for you. Expect engagement, listening and active involvement with past, present and future whilst holding you at the centre of everything we do.
