Hello, I'm Amar, I offer therapy using Psychotherapeutic, Integrative Counselling and CBT approaches. I use a wide range of clinical counselling techniques. I have helped countless individuals overcome a variety of mental health challenges, from relationship difficulties to anxiety, depression, anger management, and low self-esteem.
There are many reasons why individuals and couples see me. Sometimes it’s general. Or there may be a specific reason such as loss, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression or relationship issues. If you are struggling to cope, there is no need to do so alone, let me help.
Counselling with me is a safe space to unburden yourself. I offer specialist support for issues relating to parenting, family life and family relationships, pregnancy, birth and other traumas, PND and depression. No expectations and no pressure, we'll take it one step at a time to suit you.
I work with people who are experiencing difficulties mentally, emotionally, socially and financially. If you need a safe, confidential space to share without fear of judgement or reprisal then please get in touch.
Since I started counselling, I've had the privilege of supporting many people in tackling life's challenges. I help you understand your emotional patterns, make sense of your thoughts and feelings, and help you to make choices that are the best for you. In our work together, I will bring an open mind, a genuine sense of empathy, and an appreciation for the rich tapestry of your life experiences.
I am a fully qualified and registered counsellor and have been in private practice since 2016. I will offer you a safe, empathic, confidential and non-judgemental space where you will be heard, supported, and allowed to express yourself at your own pace and in your own unique way.

Hello, my name is Ellie and I'm a qualified Therapist working face to face and Online. I know the idea of therapy can feel daunting and vulnerable at first. My main focus is on providing a genuine, friendly and judgement-free space where you feel comfortable to bring your whole self.
My main focus is to create a confidential, accepting and welcoming environment where you can freely explore, question, and reveal and develop your authentic and distinctive identity. Through a foundation of trust, we collaborate to navigate the complexities of life, helping you discover your own path.
I work in person, online and by phone. In-person therapy is provided in London: Hammersmith (W6 0DT), Kensington (SW5 0RR), Wandsworth (SW11 1EH), City of London (EC4A 1JQ), open spaces.
Perhaps you are struggling with a particular difficulty or relationship or are feeling low, overwhelmed, or lost. Facing up to these struggles can feel daunting. I offer a friendly, warm, and relaxed encounter that allows for self-exploration, growth and recovery. It is not often that we are free to tell our story and reflect authentically on our experience. My approach is a non-judgemental one in which my clients feel heard and validated.
My foundation and grounding is in Person-Centred therapy, this is an non-directive approach and from time to time I use elements of other approaches where appropriate. Meaning you are the focus of our sessions, moving at a pace that is comfortable for you. I will incorporate different tools and techniques tailored to your needs.

Please note, I am also happy to work with male clients.

I specialise in supporting both teenagers and adults who are navigating these difficulties, offering a safe, compassionate space to explore and heal.
I believe that when we can’t change a situation and become ’stuck’ we need some help to see the situation clearly and find a way to change ourselves. We need to put the pieces of the jigsaw back together in order to see a clear picture. I can help with a wide range of issues and help you surmount whatever challenges you face.
Taking the first step to seek therapy is courageous. I acknowledge that this initial step can be the most challenging. I'm here to support you throughout your therapeutic journey.

Online Therapists and counsellors for trauma counselling
Online therapy is very similar to face to face therapy, and research has shown that it is just as effective as in person therapy. I have found that many clients find that it fits better into their other life commitments than attending face to face.
I offer online therapy via Zoom, WhatsApp or by using the telephone. This can be for either short-term or long-term work. Online counselling provides an opportunity to explore a personal difficulty in a confidential and supportive environment, without the need to travel.
